Dang, I was really hoping that Weiner was going to avoid drinking the Koolaid! How the hell is a Public Option going to compete with the Big Guys when we are gifting the Health Insurance Industry billions of dollars of subsidies a year in this Health Care bill. In the bill the Feds set up this little David (Public Option) with 2 Billion start up money that has to be paid back in 10 years, no more Bail Outs allowed, and tell them to go out and find the patients and providers and set the provider rates per negotiations.
Even the CBO says that the premiums in the Public Option might be 125% of the comparative private plans! Sounds like the Public Option might just be DOA! And then great, what are we left with but For Profit Health Insurance Companies on Steroids!!!

Oh I can't say nothing, thanks for spending billions of our dollars to strengthen Big Pharma by paying for poorly tested, corruptly researched, poisoned, name brand pharmaceuticals for our Seniors with a donut hole! Do you suppose that is what the Right Wingers were actually talking about when they complained about Death Panels, that this bill was going to increase access for Seniors to these name brand poisons, that some call medicines? I am really going to have to listen to the Right Wing much closer, maybe they were on to something!!!

Dear Congressional Progressive Caucus,

I am writing this here as many attempts to contact you at your website have failed repeatedly. I also notice that the most current of information posted is last summer. The low priority you place on being up to date on your website reveals much about your larger concerns.
I am deeply dismayed by your actions in voting yes for HR 3962. Giveaways to the Medical Industrial Complex are not what the American people need nor what they ask for. What happened to your mission statement, "Fighting for economic justice and security for all." Clearly these are just nice words that you publish on your website and nothing more. Without affordable and universal Single Payer healthcare, there will be no chance for economic justice and security for all. Public Option is a Big Band-Aid. Two thousand pages to provide, at best, an additional 2% of coverage and no cost containments is wretched and deplorable. Do you really think your constituents are that stupid to think this is a good deal. Therefore, I propose you keep the initials CPC, but it now stands for Congressional Pathetic Caucus. Progressives who are living, breathing, human beings will simply pick up and continue the fight. We will join with the true voices of reform and not look back on the likes of you and your weak stomach for justice with your hunger to satisfy corporate greed and gruel. Our strength is gained by your failure.

These so called progressives sold us OUT! Only Dennis Kucinich had the cahones to vote against this insurance company giveway. You pulled the bill Mr. Weiner, because you were told to by Pelosi and Obama who never supported real health care reform. You so called progressives are not progressive...you are liberals...you do not stand up for the principles you claimed you believed in.

To take out the provision that States couldnt enact their own single payer systems without having to sue the federal government, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the democrats are carrying water for big pharma and the insurance companies, in their pockets, delivering millions in campaign contributions to keep real reform off the table. It is the demorats who will suffer from this watered down piece of shit legislation, which the bought off Senate will water down even further. The tears on the floor of house was not because you thought you really passed real reform, but the tears were for the millions who will now be forced into a continuation of having to buy insurance from the robber barron insurance companies. For months this was the only issue on tv...and you certainly had you share of contact...you led us to believe you were going to go down fighting for a real public option. You and the so called progressives deceived the american people as much as the repukes did. I am changing my voter registration to independent TODAY. Sick and disgusted with you rats.
