I have been wanting this type of discussion.

Re: Video: Our 2.5 Trillion Dollar Health Care Factory

Thank you for helping the public understand the facts about this. I'm also concerned about the public option trap and costs to continue life-support on for-profit insurance corporations and the health industrial complex. All the advanced countries in the world have succeeded where we have failed but instead of modeling after best-practices of successful nations our administration tells us that we need a uniquely American solution. Isn't that a description of the failed system we already have?

Re: Video: Our 2.5 Trillion Dollar Health Care Factory

Wow! With regard to our country's Health Care system, this doctor has succinctly stated the problems and offered a solution. Must read!! Must act!

Re: Video: Our 2.5 Trillion Dollar Health Care Factory

As an example that seems to work very well, consider copying the system supplying health

care to our Senators and Congressman . That works and is affordable, correct?

Re: Video: Our 2.5 Trillion Dollar Health Care Factory

Did I hear right that already tons of trash/cash go to the Insurance Companies already. I like the idea of keeping what is working in different places like Kaiser, Blue Cross... then let others sign up for Medicare, or things like Masshealth in Mass... But I would tax big time the TV, Telephone, and Big Oil and Coal etc. instead of the Smokers.

Re: Video: Our 2.5 Trillion Dollar Health Care Factory

WONDERFULLY CONCISE AND ACCURATE!! THANKS. If Members of Congress are going to do the right thing, they will need a safety net, an alternative source of campaign money - publicly funded elections. Read about the "Fair Elections Now Act", now in Congress, and ask your representatives to co-sponsor.
